These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern all purchases and orders made with Dream Window ('the Company', 'we', 'us', 'our'). By placing an order with Dream Window, whether online, by telephone, or in person, you ('the Purchaser') agree to be bound by these Terms.

Orders and Products

  1.  All products supplied by Dream Window are made to your specific measurements and requirements and are therefore bespoke items.
  2.  All dimensions must be supplied in metric (millimetres). Designs are specified as viewed from the outside of the property, unless otherwise stated at the point of order.
  3.  All units are supplied unglazed, in accordance with Manual Handling safety regulations.
  4.  Orders and any amendments to orders are only accepted and binding once confirmed in writing. Email confirmation is sufficient.

Payment

  1.  A deposit of 25% of the total order value is required to place an order. The remaining balance must be received in full cleared funds at least two working days before delivery, or on or before the day of collection.
  2.  Where delivery is arranged, card payments must be either: registered to the delivery address; verified via 3D Secure (Verified by Visa / Mastercard SecureCode); or made by Chip and PIN at one of our premises. Bank transfer is also accepted.

  3.  Cheques, banker's drafts and printed building society cheques are not accepted as cleared funds and must be received at least 10 working days before delivery or collection.

  4.  Full payment must be made no later than one calendar month from the date you are notified that your goods are ready for collection or delivery. Failure to make payment within this period may result in the order being cancelled and costs being charged (see Section G).

Delivery and Collection

  1.  Delivery is kerbside only. We are unable to carry goods beyond the kerbside or into your property.
  2.  You must ensure a responsible adult is available at the delivery address throughout the agreed delivery day to receive the goods.
  3.  The contract turnaround period begins on the next working day following receipt of your confirmed order.
  4.  Time is not of the essence. While we always endeavour to deliver within the timeframe shown on your order confirmation, delays may occasionally occur. In such cases, we will contact you promptly to agree a revised delivery date.
  5.  We will contact you to confirm your delivery date in advance. You can track your delivery on our website on the day of delivery. Our driver will typically call approximately one hour before arrival. Deliveries take place between 08:00 and 18:00.
  6.  If you fail to be present at the agreed delivery address, the goods will be returned to our warehouse. A re-delivery charge of £30.00 will apply for any subsequent delivery attempt.
  7.  Risk in the goods passes to the Purchaser or their nominated agent upon delivery or collection.
  8.  If collecting, please contact us to arrange a collection date and bring a copy of your order confirmation and a valid form of photographic ID (e.g. passport or driving licence). Goods will not be released without valid identification.

Inspection and Damaged Goods

  1.  Upon receipt of your goods, you must inspect them as soon as reasonably practicable and before removing any existing windows, doors, or commencing installation.
  2.  Any faults, damage, or missing items must be reported in writing to info@dreamwindow.co.uk as soon as possible, quoting your order number. Photographs clearly illustrating the defect will be requested.
  3.  Should a defect be caused by Dream Window, we will offer appropriate remedies which may include repair, replacement, or a partial refund at our discretion. If we are not given a reasonable opportunity to remedy the defect, we will not be liable for any third-party rectification costs incurred by the Purchaser.
  4.  Dream Window reserves the right to request an independent inspection of any allegedly defective goods to determine whether they have been correctly installed, used, maintained, or stored. A reasonable charge may be applied if goods have been misused or incorrectly installed.

Installation

  1.  We strongly recommend that installation is carried out by a competent and suitably qualified person. Please read all installation instructions supplied with your goods before commencing installation.
  2.  Before confirming an installation date or engaging a third-party installer, please ensure that all goods have been physically delivered, inspected, and checked for correct design, dimensions, and completeness. This allows sufficient time for any replacement parts to be sourced if required (typically one to two weeks for stock items; longer if manufacture is required).
  3.  Due to site-specific conditions and installation methods, minor adjustments may be required on-site by the installer.
  4.  Dream Window may make minor technical changes to product specifications that do not affect their function or appearance and do not affect the price. You will be notified of any material changes and may approve them or receive a full refund.

Cancellations and Changes

  1.  As all products are made to your specific requirements and cannot be resold, cancellations after the two-hour cooling-off period will incur charges for all costs already incurred by Dream Window, including manufacturing costs. Full refunds are only available if cancellation is made within two hours of placing your order.

All cancellations must be made by a clear written statement sent to info@dreamwindow.co.uk.

  1.  Any changes to an existing order may incur additional charges. The cost will depend on the stage of production reached and the nature of the change. If you anticipate changes, you must request in writing that your order be placed 'on hold' to prevent further production. Changes must then be confirmed in writing before the order is taken off hold.
  2.  The production turnaround period will restart from the next working day after any confirmed change to an order.

Price Promise

Dream Window is confident in its pricing and product quality. If you find an equivalent product, with an equivalent level of service, from a company with 10 or more years' trading history, at a lower price, we undertake to beat it. Please provide us with a written quote or verifiable web link so we may confirm the details. We reserve the right to decline this offer at our discretion. Sash windows are excluded from this price promise.

Liability and Force Majeure

  1.  Dream Window shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including (but not limited to): acts of God, fire, flood, natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, strikes, theft, or severe weather ('Force Majeure').
  2.  Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  3.  If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
